I connected the hard drive to another laptop pc running Win 7 with a sata to usb cable. But when the system tried to install the driver a failure happened. Through the device manager the hard drive showed up in the usb devices list with a label of ASMT1051 but with a yellow triangle with an exclamation point and the properties listed that 'This device is not configured correctly. I attempted to correct the issue by following a post suggesting to delete the infcache.1 file in the c: windows system32 drivestore subdirectory then rebooting and reinstalling the hard drive, but that did not correct the issue. Windows Xp Sata Driver DownloadMy printer is an HP LaserJet 1100. The symptoms were that it appeared to load the driver ok, no adverse looking signals via the Device Manager. When I printed a document though the printer queue would show the document sent to the printer, but the printer just sat there - no printing ensued. I tried attaching to different usb ports but nothing seemed to work. I did notice that there were 2 different printers available for printing though. There was only the one printer attached on the system, and the document printed okay. I'm not sure if the condition of having 2 printers was caused by attaching the printer to a different port or not. I usually disconnect the printer until I need to print anything due to my 'office' layout. So it appears I have my system back up and running as usual.
